Founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus as Jack Nicklaus's personal club, The Bear's Club offers an 18-hole, par-72 course of roughly 7,164 yards winding through woods, lakes, and natural preserves, plus a 9-hole par-3 course. The low-density gated community includes estate homes, golf villas, and cottages, and it is home to a number of touring professionals. Access is strictly by invitation.

This private club opened in 2002 as the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa and features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course. The Trump Organization acquired the property in 2012 and later renovated the course and its 68,000-square-foot clubhouse. Set within a gated residential community of estate homes and golf villas, it offers golf, tennis, spa, and dining. Membership is by invitation; contact the club directly.

Abacoa Golf Club is a well-regarded public course in the heart of Jupiter, the final design of noted architect Joe Lee, opened in 1999. The 18-hole championship layout is known for rolling fairways, notable elevation changes, and water in play on many holes, with a driving range, academy, and a grille overlooking the 18th green. No membership is required; tee times are open to all.

Jupiter Dunes is an 18-hole, par-3 short course set along Jupiter's estuary just steps from the ocean. Originally opened in 1973 and reimagined in 2003, it recently marked its 50th anniversary with renovated greens, tees, and bunkers. Affordable and walkable, it is a favorite for beginners, families, and short-game practice, with no membership or tee times required.

Jupiter Hills Club is consistently ranked among Florida's finest private clubs, with two 18-hole courses designed by George and Tom Fazio: the Hills Course (1970) and the Village Course (1979). Apogee is one of the most ambitious new private clubs in America, a members-only, golf-first retreat spanning 1,218 acres in Hobe Sound with no permanent residences. Founded in 2023, it is building a 54-hole collection across three championship courses (the West by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, the South by Tom Fazio II and Mike Davis, and the North by Kyle Phillips), plus a par-3 course and an expansive practice complex. Founding members include Rory McIlroy and Ernie Els. Access is strictly private.

PGA National Resort is the anchor of Palm Beach Gardens golf and home of the PGA Tour's Cognizant Classic (formerly the Honda Classic) on its Champion Course. Originally designed by George and Tom Fazio and later redesigned by Jack Nicklaus, the Champion is best known for the Bear Trap, the demanding stretch at holes 15 through 17. The resort offers five championship courses (Champion, Palmer, Fazio, Estates, and Match) plus a short course, a spa, dining, and lodging. Tee times are open to resort guests and the public.

BallenIsles is a large private club community on roughly 1,300 acres, built on the former home of the PGA of America. It offers three championship courses (North, South, and East, originally Dick Wilson designs) totaling 54 holes, plus a 115,000-square-foot clubhouse and an extensive tennis and pickleball complex. Homes range from courtyard residences to estate properties.

Old Palm Golf Club is a boutique, ultra-private community founded in 2004 with a single Raymond Floyd-designed course of about 7,401 yards, plus a 19th hole and full-length practice holes. With a deliberately small membership sharing one course, Old Palm is known for exceptional pace of play and pristine conditioning, set among large custom estate homesites.

Panther National is an ultra-luxury new private club within the master-planned Avenir community in western Palm Beach Gardens, the first brand-new private club in Palm Beach County in more than two decades. Its heavily shaped Jack Nicklaus Signature course, developed with input from Justin Thomas, opened in November 2023 and anchors a community of 218 custom estates on 400 acres. Access is by membership.

Mirasol is a private, gated community of roughly 1,170 homes surrounded by preserves and lakes, with two championship courses designed by Tom Fazio (Sunrise) and Arthur Hills (Sunset). Beyond golf, members enjoy The Esplanade sports and fitness center with tennis, pool, spa, and dining. The club opened in 2001.

Old Marsh is a private equity golf club established in 1987 around a classic Pete Dye course that winds through natural marsh preserves, distinctive among South Florida's flatter parkland layouts. Frenchman's Creek is a private country club community with 36 holes of golf (North and South courses by Jim Fazio and Robert Cupp), a new 124,000-square-foot clubhouse, and a private oceanfront beach club, one of the few inland clubs in the area with its own beach amenity. Frenchman's Reserve is a boutique private club and residential community built around an Arnold Palmer Signature course, opened in 2001. The layout emphasizes playability alongside challenge, with Mediterranean Revival architecture throughout the gated community and a personalized, intimate membership experience.

Eastpointe is a private, gated golf community dating to the mid-1970s, with about 750 residences and two Fazio-designed championship courses (the East, a par 72, and the West, a par 70). The recently renovated club adds pickleball, tennis, resort-style pools, and The Pointe lifestyle center with dining and fitness.

Seminole is one of the most revered private courses in the country. Designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1929, it plays about 7,265 yards to a par of 72 and is famous for its oceanside setting, sweeping sand-ridge routing, and a finishing stretch that Ben Hogan used as his tune-up before the Masters. The course was restored by Coore and Crenshaw between 2016 and 2018. Access is strictly limited to members and their guests.

Jupiter Inlet Colony is a small oceanfront town at the southern tip of Jupiter Island and does not have a golf course within its boundaries. Residents typically play at nearby clubs in Jupiter and Tequesta, including Jupiter Hills Club and Admirals Cove, all a short drive away.
